Molecular Libraries of Imaging Agents (MLIA) play an increasingly important role in fastforwarding the discovery of novel agents and in optimizing the properties of existing ones. Our Program uses a dual approach to develop imaging agents: a) development of libraries of imaging agents (e.g. fluorescently tagged small molecules, derivatized magnetic nanoparticles) and b) conversion of lead compounds into imaging agents (e.g. phage display; derivatization of small molecules)
