Description: A position is currently open in the lab of Filip Swirski for a Postdoctoral Fellow – Innate immunity in atherosclerosis.

We are looking for a motivated post-doctoral fellow to study the role of myeloid cells in atherosclerosis. Experiments will utilize classical cell biology tools, molecular profiling, and recently developed in vivo molecular imaging and therapeutic technologies that permit to interrogate monocyte biology at multiple resolutions, from the whole animal to a single cell. The project will interact closely with local imaging, immunology and cardiovascular groups. The research project is part of the Cellular Imaging Program (CIP) at CMIR. More information is available @ http://cmir.mgh.harvard.edu/cip

Requirements: The candidate (PhD or MD) should have experience in cell and molecular biological techniques. We offer excellent training opportunities in a collaborative research environment that includes immunology, chemistry and imaging disciplines. Please send your application, including CV, an outline of your research interests, and names and addresses of three references by email to fswirski@mgh.havard.edu.
